Karaoke machines only carry licensed hits, and fan-made karaoke videos cluster around a handful of popular songs. If the song you love isn't there, or comes with no translation or reading guide, you're left reading lyrics you can't follow.
We started Dowajo Company to fix that. Instead of transcribing a song with speech recognition, MyKara takes the lyrics as the ground truth and aligns them to the audio, so the words on screen are always the right words.
MyKara was built with Claude Code, and its lyric translation runs on the Claude API.
